Does thy heart hear my sorrows?

Lucrezia, by my name I stand

Within mine actions, no blame I earn

Because of Love –

I deny my Father, the Lord, and the King.

Before my God, I condemn those desires,

In my tresses, my tears lie hidden

And there, I too am lost

If thou should not to find me there,

My name is already buried.

For the sake of my heart, I blame thy body

In the name of His Holiness, I die no more

If my Father so cherishes my soul,

Let him cast then His Holy flesh into Hell

To relieve half of the fire on which I burn on.
